St. Leonard’s Place Peel (SLPP) acknowledges that we are situated on the traditional territory of the Mississauga’s of the Credit First Nation, part of the Anishinaabe, Huron-Wendat, and Haudenosaunee Confederacy. This land is covered by Treaty 19, also known as the Ajetance Purchase of 1818, and has been home to Indigenous Peoples for thousands of years.

We recognize the enduring presence and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples across Turtle Island. We honour the past, present, and future of Indigenous communities and are committed to fostering reconciliation, equity, and cultural inclusion.
